No, this is not a blog about my posture although I’d really like to work on it, quite frankly. This is a special momentous occasion in my young family’s life. You see, my son, who is now six months old, who couldn’t support himself in sitting up last week, can sit up straight this week! It’s really quite mystifying, these developments. If adults continued to develop in the leaps and bounds that infants do, there’s no telling what we would be able to accomplish. I wonder what goes through my son’s mind when he realizes he’s sitting up today and couldn’t yesterday. And since we don’t begin making memories at such a young age, there’s no one who can authoritatively say whether he’s as proud of himself as we are as parents.
